Take a quick ride to the bus stop to catch your fare, or take an easy ride across campus and beat your friends to class.
Or take an exhilarating ride to the gym to feel the fresh wind in your face after a long day at work. Or maybe you just want to take a relaxing cruise down your favorite city street on a weekend.
Our electric skateboard was designed to be the ideal personal transportation vehicle that offered the perfect balance between being easy to ride, lightweight and portable, and affordable.
So what exactly does our electric skateboard have to offer? Lets start by taking a look at our top 7 features and benefits.
1. Our board has a powerful electric motor.
How does it work? The motor assembly is actually part of the wheel, with no external moving parts besides the wheel itself. It's quite similar to those toy car engines you’d remove from the RC car your parents bought you. We took one of those little motors, enlarged it, wrapped Urethane rubber around it and attached it to an axle. In a nutshell, that’s how our electric motor works.
What are some advantages of our in-wheel electric motor?
Quiet operation: The in-wheel motor is ultra quiet. Not only is it wrapped in Urethane rubber, but there is no gear drive, belts or chains to make additional noise. Because of this, you can cruise around town or on campus silently, and no one can tell you're riding an electric skateboard.
Zero required maintenance: No gear drive, belts or chains also means nothing to lubricate or replace, thus reducing maintenance and cost. It also makes the motor better suited to handle dirt, dust and water.
Ability to coast: Our in-wheel electric motor provides the least amount of friction of any motor type when not in use. So when the battery runs out, our board is just as easy to push as a regular board. Other electric boards from competing brands are almost impossible to push on once the battery dies.
2. Our board has a high-capacity battery.
Our 24V, 2200AH battery provides plenty of juice to cruise around town or across campus.
We chose our battery capacity carefully, as we wanted to keep weight down but we also wanted to make sure we had a battery that could sustain a respectable range and speed capability. We wanted an electric board that was lightweight and portable, but also fast and able to ride the distance.
3. Our board gives you precise acceleration and braking control, right at your fingertips. Our wireless 2.4 Ghz handheld controller sends a zero-delay signal to the motor control, and provides smooth and predictable acceleration and braking.
Push slightly forward on the trigger and get seamless acceleration as you weave effortlessly through crowds. Pull back to slow down quickly and confidently when your going too fast or riding down hills. Cruise quickly yet quietly to your destination. Our electric skateboard is easy yet exhilarating to ride, whether you've ridden a skateboard before or it’s your very first time.
So what makes us different from other, similar competitors? Our electric skateboard was designed to be the ideal personal transportation vehicle that offered the perfect balance between being easy to ride, lightweight and portable, and affordable.

4. Our board is lightweight and easy to carry.
We wanted a personal electric vehicle that was lightweight and easy to take with you anywhere you go. Unlike most forms of electric transportation available on the market such as electric scooters and bikes, our electric board is light enough to carry around with one hand and you can take it with you anywhere.
We did our absolute best to shave off every ounce that wasn't needed by choosing a shorter 7-ply Maple deck, a lightweight Lithium-ion battery, and an in-wheel electric hub motor. In the end we were able to design a personal electric vehicle that was significantly lighter than anything our competition has to offer. Our electric board clocks in at an ultra-light 8.4 lbs.
5. Our board is portable and easy to travel with.
We wanted electric transportation that can go with us to school, to work, or anywhere else we needed to be. Our electric board is just 27.5 inches from tip to tail. We wanted to create a personal electric vehicle that was small enough to fit in a locker, but large enough to ride easily down your favorite city streets.
6. Our board is priced right.
We wanted to create a personal electric vehicle that didn't have to break the bank. We did some research and found that the average electric scooter costs between $350-$900, and the average electric bike costs between $700-$5,000.
We feel there's no reason to spend a month's worth of rent on a personal electric vehicle, especially when you can have just as much fun for a fraction of the cost. That’s why we priced our electric board for significantly less.
